    • To which (supported) help desk edition of Spiceworks do you refer?

    We've the Spiceworks Help Desk Server (HDS) running on Ubuntu Linux and the Spiceworks Cloud Help Desk (CHD) running on public Spiceworks Cloud.

    By default, I can't remember an automated email during a ticket in state automation. And I did not get which automated email you would want to have and to be sent to whom. You may look into the settings of your undisclosed edition of Spiceworks, into monitoring and alerting. You might configure something there if you want.
