  • Applications connected to your Spiceworks Community account would likely be the software applications that you install, for instance our helpdesk or inventory products.  It isn't going to be some active always-on connection, but a record of what has happened in the past, and things that your community account still recognizes.  If you want old applications shut down and the connections severed and you aren't able to do it yourself, then you should reach out to support (support@spiceworks.com).

I did not ask for likelihoods. I don't know where this information comes from. I'm wondering why Spiceworks Cloud tools like Spiceworks Cloud Help Desk, Spiceworks, Inventory Online, Spiceworks Connectivity Dashboard and Spiceworks Vendor Contracts shall be excluded as they are not installed on my site but nevertheless accessing my Spiceworks Community account. I usually expect that the undisclosed source of such information has more context info available like identification of the undisclosed tool. In my case, it claims to have found 10 Spiceworks tools accessing my Spiceworks account. I have no idea if some tools are counted multiple times. I have no idea if some tools are missing, e.g. due to known bug of Spiceworks Collection Agent Windows edition. I have no idea if those tools are of latest used version or of some older version of same undisclosed tool.

    • So how may I get such context info?
    • Why is such context info not displayed in that table?

All reported dates in the table of my account are of 2019 or 2020. None is of 2021 nor 2022. If I remember it fine, I did install some Spiceworks tools only in 2021 or 2022 and not already before, e.g. Spiceworks Scanning Agent and Spiceworks Collection Agent.

    • How may I be sure that these Spiceworks tools are not listed despite having these installed locally?
    • How may I know why these Spiceworks tools are not listed although these access my Spiceworks community account?

No, I don't want to shut down old applications.

    • What makes you sure that this list includes only old applications and excludes latest Spiceworks tools like Spiceworks Cloud Help Desk or Spiceworks Inventory Online in latest actual version?
