  • Have you confirmed that they both support that feature? You may be getting a zero reading simply because there is no temperature sensor there.

  • Our old hp switch just supports over temperature. I was hoping even if newer arubua model doesnt give actual temp but give same reply as olde hp switch - good or bad using over temperature item. How would i know if it support this?

  • Did you add the mib for the  Aruba 2930F, zabbix needs to understand the device snmp structure to get the correct data.
