    • Is the server old? Are you trying to run a 64bit OS on a server that can't run virtual 64bit machines?

I have thought about this and just wanted to ask to see if it is fixable, before nuking again.

    • What is the CPU and are you trying to run an 64bit OS?

Can you try a 32bit one.

G6 are out of support but I'm sure you know that, so this limits what you can and cannot run.

What is the OS you are trying to run?

    • Have you removed the default language or changed the region at all?

Many updates rely on the default US language pack still being installed, if it has been removed it will error.

That doesn't matter, I'm talking about the removal of the default en_US language. Some apps require this to be installed even if this is not your native location/language.

If you've removed this language, please re-add it and try again

    • Hi, and welcome to the Community!
Consider using the new Windows Admin Center https://www.starwindsoftware.com/blog/windows-admin-center-for-windows-server to manage your Hyper-V host. Unline classic old-fashioned tools WAC uses Powershell to control the host and offers a polished and responsive web-based UI that includes a VM console. Using free Hyper-V Server or Windows Server Core Edition with Hyper-V role and Windows Admin Center makes the Microsoft hypervisor experience pretty close to VMware ESXi in some ways.
