  • 47 errors are starwheel lifter and gear errors. Either something is blocking the starwheel assembly (that metal strip with the spikey wheels all across) or the lifter has failed. Not an uncommon failure over time as the gear system is all plastic. Part number  Q5669-67054

  • Only this?

This is a "penny item" :-(.
Where can I buy this for little money?
Preferably in Europe or China etc.. Ebay or Ali etc.?
Not "corporate-pay-anything" prices from replacement parts boutiques.
    I own it privately.
But also the USA are possibly acceptable, if the postage is not expensive.
Is it not possible to 3D print the defective parts?

It must be required by law that something like this MUST be made of stronger plastic or metal.
Aren't there better accessories from other manufacturers?
Are there possibly only the parts that are defective in the free trade?
E.g. a suitable gear made of metal.
In the case of ball bearings, there are also certain standards.
There I do not have to buy from the manufacturer of a device (drill, automobile, etc.).

  • According to HP the list price on this part is 15.59 Canadian and for me as a dealer that includes shipping. You might be able to print a 3D replacement but by the time you source or create a file, add the cost of filament and your time, it is likely cheaper to buy. I would disassemble first and confirm what is broken before going further.

  • Yes, the problem is the existence of a 3D print file.
I personally have never created a 3D file.

    The only part I found on Thingiverse is "HP DesignJet cutter gear CQ890-67108 for T120, T125, T130, T520, T525, T530, T730, T830".
    And "HP 9000s Pump Gear."

Not surprised about the cutter gear, those do fail in as few as 500 cuts.

  • tobiasclaren, glad I noticed your post on the HP site. Made me do another search and I did find a tech document that states the most common cause is different than the troubleshooting document I saw. You really need to take this apart and determine which parts has actually broken as you may need to replace the starwheel motor assembly. I updated part number for that on the HP forum post.
