Hello,
Is it possible to forward an incoming email automatically to an external email account if original recipient doesn't have a Google Workspace account in your tenant?
I.e. someone emails username@mydomain.com, but there is no workspace account for username@mydomain.com. When the email is received to this address, it instead forwards to username@gmail.com. This would be for all incoming mail to the address.

Routing rules can be created but groups are usually simpler.
I would create a google group with the dedicated address that you want and add that person to the group.
