  • i use it to serve up some video content at home and it does what it says on the box. works fine with my PC's FireSticks, Game Consoles and TV's.

    If you want to test it just grab the ready to go appliance from TurnkeyLinux.  you'll be up and running in minutes and can test it.

    Sounds like it's more of an alternative to Plex?

    I've been working on getting a Xibo box working for digital signage at work. 

    Jellyfin looks good and it does do transcoding (with hardware support). I may spin this up at home. Not sure if it will fulfill my work's digital signage needs though.
