It may be too early to tell, but this could be an AWS or Cloudflare outage that is the route cause -- both are receiving spikes of user reports on Downdetector.

We’ve seen reports of service outages across the Internet. Confirmed @Cloudflare’s services all operational. No uptick in attacks. We are seeing local drops in traffic from some upstream providers. Not yet clear if they’re related or not. All indications: not a Cloudflare issue.

It appears there was a Google Cloud load balancer issue that impacted multiple services. Some of them use us so you may have seen CF errors when we couldn’t reach them. There may be some funkiness as everything gets back to normal, but traffic being restored.

Discord is back up and running for messages, calls, and streams! We are still working on a few things like attachments and typing events, but those should come back online soon.
