  • GoGuardian or NetOp Vision are two that come to mind. I have used Vision for many years in my Windows Computer labs and worked pretty good. Vision Pro has installation instructions for Mac. That is the one I would recomend.

  • Splashtop offers two solution to support your usage model:
    * Mirroring360 Pro -- This assumes teachers is in front of the Mac / PC, and can then cast his/her computer (Smart) screen to student devices (Mac, iOS, Android, Windows, Chromebook supported).... all student devices need are standard browsers.   An URL is generated for students to join easily via browsers.  It's just $29.99 per presenter (teacher) per year.
    * Splashtop Classroom --  with Classroom, teacher can actually control his/her computer via an iPad / Android tablet while roaming around the classroom, while sharing the computer screen (Smart) to all the student devices.  However, all student devices will also need to download Classroom app (free for students).  with this solution, students will be able to annotate on screen from their devices, as teacher can pass the control / baton to selective student.  It's  a collaborative solution.   It's also very cost effective at $29.99 per teacher per month for sharing up to 3 students (usually, for visually impaired use case), or $99.99 per teacher per year for sharing up to 40 devices.
Pls feel free to PM me with any question.

  • Get Apple Remote Desktop from the Mac App Store for the teacher iMac, it is a one time purchase of $80.
Then you can add the student macs to it.
And the teacher can see and control the student macs.
Here is a getting started guide for it
