We work in govt and are required to turn over emails pretty regulalry. In the past we would do a content search and give the exported PST file to another department and then they go through it and delete the unrelated results to clean up the PST file. Well these files are starting to lock up in outlook and require multiple repairs. Is there a better way to do this? I am currently testing if I can upload these PST files to a shared mailbox and give the user that cleans them up access. If that does work, then I would have to clean out this mailbox after every PIA is complete. Also, sometimes we have multiple searches going on at once, so that would be a problem.
