Is there an API for interacting with IBM Power8 servers? My current job has me doing a lot of "log into this server, run these commands, log out" and as a fan of PowerShell and automation I'd love to be able to make some of the common commands into something that I can just one-click run via script.

I'm not super familiar with IBM Super8. Are those Linux/Unix-based systems?

How do you 'log into this server' ?

Sounds like it could be SSH, powershell can send and hands SSH commands.

I'd recommend PowerShell 7 if you are doing more SSH stuff with it.

I'm not sure - I have a dedicated terminal program for it, but it might be over an SSH connection. I'll have to dig and see. Worth a shot, though!
