My IBMx3550 M4 server failed and I have purchased the exact make and model. I have moved the RAID disks into the new serve but cannot find the RAID controller.I went ahead and I moved the RAID controller card from old server to the new server still not picking up the raid.
I placed the Raid disk back to the original server but not loading the OS. Looking at WEB BIOD All RAID showing as foreign disk slot. How can I import the RAID without losing data.
I am new in this any help will be appreciated.

Scrolling down to the Compatibility section, it looks like you might want to check your manuals about the "flash" EEPROM.

What in your IBM M4 failed ? Do you have a backup of the server, BMR or data backup ?

Then did you place the SATA/SAS cables to the correct slots ? Is the RAID adapter battery working properly ?
