  • First thing, ditch the Spiceworks app.  I had it, it never worked right, and I consistently cursed the day I decided to use it.  The happiest day of my life was when I ditched it.  They might have fixed it or whatever, but it wasn't worth the hassle then and sounds like it might not be worth the hassle now.

    As a stopgap I went to Access (I know, dumbdumbDUMB), but it works for what I was doing.  I'm most probably going to go with Snipe-IT this summer.  Their on-prem is free but they do offer a paid cloud version:
