    Upper Peninsula = UP (Yooper)

    Lower Peninsula below the bridge=Troll

Michigans two peninsulas are joined by the Mackinaw Bridge.

    • I thought you were asking if people here on the forum were trolling.  I guess I kinda came here, then, to troll.  But its about bridges.  So I wont.  =|

Nope, just trying to find out if there are any Michigan trolls in the community.  My girlfriend used to be a troll.

If you aren't a "yooper" (hopefully you know what that is), you are a troll!

    • Yup, I am a Troll - But I love the UP...

My brother and I stayed a few days in the Lake of the Clouds cabin in the Porkies.  That was the most excellent camping/backpacking trip I have ever had.

    • I'm a troll, but like the UP.  I'm trying to get my Scout troop to do Picture Rocks or Isle Royal trip.

    • I am 1/2 troll and yooper.

But I didn't think that they had computer in the UP yet? When did that change?

    • We call all of you much worse than trolls down here in Ohio.

      How's that for a troll?  :)

      Just kidding around.

    • Ohio?  Ohio? We don't need no stinking Ohio......

And furthermore, at least we have a football team this year....

    • If I remember the news story right, as it turns out, OSU technically didn't even have a team last year!

No problems, I know it is all good fun...  Even if it wasn't, I threw the first stone.

    • Truth be told, U of M didn't have much of a team last year either.  Time will tell.

Was this post helpful? thumb_up thumb_down
    • Yes, it will be an interesting year for both teams...  Isn't this the first season since the WVU guy was let go?  If OSU does as well as they're place in the coach's poll, I'll be happy.

Let me tell ya, my dad and my wife's family still live in WV, and OSU gained a bunch of fans down there when Michigan got him.
