My website is marked as phishing and the link to inform open dns that this is a mistake doesn't work
What can I do to resolve this

Don't use the link that states it's phishing - it could be a phishing email to begin with. Have you reached out to OpenDNS via their website or customer support to verify the site and submit a claim?
One of the current tactics that cybercriminals are using is to send emails informing people that their accounts have been disabled and to correct it, they click the link to visit the site, which in turn is just being used to harvest credentials from victims.

Setup a cloud firewall and force the laptop to use it as DNS.
I have clicked on contact sales at least 3 or 4 times trying to get some information about buying OpenDNS as we are switching ISPs and it was included in our monthly charge. I can't believe that I cannot get Cisco to call me back to spend some money with them........Horrible

We use a reseller for our OpenDNS, AxisFirst 01278 421020 never had any issues with the product. Give them a call :)

I see this is an older post. If you're still looking to subscribe to Cisco's DNS service (Umbrella is their commercial product, OpenDNS is their consumer product), Paul is right - you'll likely need to work with a Cisco Partner. User their Partner search tool here:
Unofficially, anyone can leverage basic Umbrella/OpenDNS protections simply by pointing your forwarders to their nameservers at 18.104.22.168 and 22.214.171.124.
I've used the Contact Us form on the Umbrella website twice in the last 3 months and haven't received a followup either time. I am a new MSP and would like to get signed up. I am familiar with the product - I just need a quote. What is the best method to get in contact? A phone number from an old marketing email for MSPs rings and then says there is no VM set up and then disconnects.

I am having the same problem, you think they would want to take my money
I am looking for a Cloud based web filter.
There is NO AD/Domain it would be deployed in a workgroup setting. Need Simple Authentication, is that deployment supported?

Absolutely.. No AD required. You will ultimately route all DNS queries to Open DNS/Umbrella.... and you will get control of 'all' traffic by your selected rules. As long as you don't need a bunch of specific rules for special users.. you can control 'all' traffic and not worry too much about 'who'.
I run it and love it. I use AD and other groups in my AD for specific rules, but it can be simply rules for all.
Hope this helps.
We host cloud RDS servers for our customers. We have 1 DC with multiple domains on it. We have separate RDS servers for the different clients to log into. What would be the best way to set up OpenDNS Umbrella in this situation?

I talked to him. Emily and him and the entire team are engaged. This was a mistake.

Thanks again! We love OpenDNS. We have been using it since July 2015. Casey Guillory was our initial contact and it was/has been a great experience.
BSidesPDX Celebrating its third year, BSidesPDX took over the Oregon Convention Center in delightfully rainy Portland. Though one of the smaller BSides events, it’s drawn the attention of many in the security community, notably keynote speaker Senator Ron Wyden. It’s a challenge to find lawmakers sympathetic to cybersecurity professionals, especially given the current political climate, so Wyden’s […]
Harvesting phishing sites for filtering has always been somewhat of an ongoing, uphill battle. Many phishing sites are designed to look as close to the legitimate webpages they’re imitating as possible. The more genuine looking, the greater the chance of someone willingly agreeing to hand over sensitive personal information, and also the tougher it is […]

In this post we’ll outline some useful techniques for visualizing evolutionary data and provide tips to make a powerful impact. The data At OpenDNS, […]
SOURCE Conference Seattle On October 12th and 13th I was given the opportunity to share some of my Domain Generation Algorithm (DGA) research to another SOURCE Conference audience, this time in Seattle, Washington. Day 1 Richard Thieme kicked off the conference with his talk entitled “Play Through the Pain? – The Impact of Forbidden Knowledge […]
Cryptocurrency continues to change the world of money. Bitcoins and blockchain technology might replace traditional banking, but first it is the community who have to solve a lot of security problems. Bitcoin wallets and companies are being targeted by the criminals more and more as they face easier schemes to launder stolen funds. Traditional banks have […]
Domain Generation Algorithms – Why so effective? Domain Generation Algorithms(DGAs) are used in malware to generate a large number of domain names that can be used in communications to the malware’s command and control servers. One reason that DGAs are used is because a predefined list of domains that will be used as Command & Control […]
