Hi everyone,

We have a blog post up today about cloud document collaboration in regulated industries (healthcare, finance, legal, etc), but it's valuable information for anybody who has sensitive data in their businesses.

Read the full article here Opens a new window...

Here's a snippet:

The protection of private and sensitive data is a concern for organizations in every industry. However, for certain sectors, employees have to be especially concerned with secure cloud document collaboration and file sharing to ensure that they remain compliant with regulations governing data transmission.

lock icon Live Webinar: Addressing Online File Sharing and Security Concerns

Hi everyone,
Another webinar coming up (this Thursday 9/19 at 11 AM PST)!  This time the topic and subject matter are a little different...

Here are the details of the webinar: Opens a new window

Consumers have more gadgets now than ever. Between smartphones, tablets, and laptops, the average mobile worker carries 3.5 devices, with 92% of them expecting to have their smartphones enabled for both personal and business use*.

While these devices allow us to be more efficient, this BYOD ("Bring Your Own Device") reality is causing leakage of critical data due to lost, stolen, or hacked devices, and employees sharing business content with outsiders.

Topics include:
-The "Dropbox Problem" in small businesses
-Challenges in maintaining control over your business data in the BYOD era
-How small businesses can address common online file sharing security concerns
-Factors to consider when evaluating an online file sharing solution for your business
-A brief demo of Memeo C1

lock icon Spiceworks Newbie

Hey everyone, my name is Ted. My company Memeo and I just joined Spiceworks - and we're excited to be here!

I'm looking to get connected with Spiceheads and better understand the types of data management (backup/sync/large file transfer) services you're using in your businesses, as Memeo prepares to enter the SMB market. I'm looking forward to getting in touch and hearing genuine feedback on the good, the bad and the ugly out there!

A little bit about Memeo:

You may know of our automatic backup or consumer sync software, as we're bundled with several large consumer device manufacturers. We're currently working on a cloud-sync service of our own right now--Memeo C1.

Memeo C1 is a simple way for employees to access and update business documents across computers and mobile devices - without IT Admins having to give up security or control of business data.
