lock icon Enterprise SSD

I am researching a new server that I will get in Q1 2017.

I have read plenty of reviews for Kingston Enterprise Red SSD.

I am looking at purchasing a HP ML350 gen8 server. Can I get these enterprise SSD from Kingston, or do I need to purchase the drives that HP offers?

SSDNow KC310 features an 8-channel Phison S10 controller plus a DDR3 DRAM cache and quad-core processor for speeds of 550MB/s read and 520MB/s write. Its high IOPS reduce application latency and improve bootup and responsiveness to increase productivity and extend the life of existing HDD-based systems.

    Hi Owen,

I spoke with my tech support team, and they said that the drive is showing to be in a Read-Only state but is not marked as Read-Only typically means there is something preventing Windows from writing to it. If you have not already, try it on another computer with a different operating system to see if that makes any difference. If not, there may be something going on with the drive itself and we can replace the drive under it's five year warranty.

If you email me at liesl@kingston.com I will connect you with your local support team to get that swapped out for you.
