Has anyone come across an issue with the DesignJet T830 series printer.
- we are experiencing the following, it will only print 1 page at a time.
- No matter what page type you set, ie A0, A1, A3 when it goes and prints A4 only.
has anyone seen this behaviour before.
Note: printer was working fine for user, but right now its doing the above...

Have you installed the latest driver from hp?
Can you try printing with HP click, this has worked for me with production printers in the past.
Is there any page defaults set on the printer?
Anyone can recommend HP Laptop, Desktop or server suppliers in UK?

If you need some extra digging let me know.
What is going on with the apparent HP Authorization backlog? I've purchased HP SmartBuy systems through distribution for many years, and I started the process for HP authorization, as required by HP, but now I've been told by distribution that there's a 8-10 week backlog for authorization processing. I submitted my information to HP weeks ahead of the May 1 deadline.
Can someone put me in touch or direct me to where I can acquire the HP Device Manager Software, server side? Here is the link to the product page I am looking at: HP Device Manager Software
I would like to use it to image HP T530's.
I have asked my sales representative but they were utterly useless. I have purchased these through Eide Bailly, and when I contacted then and even sent them the link they told me 'Device Manger is an included management tool found on the Thin Clients. Questions or support on Device Manager would be handled by HP Support.' They don't seem to have any clue about the server side of the software so they can't help me.

Okay, so two things.
We just officially moved all of our thin clients, including our T530's to Stratodesk. The pricing is unbelievably reasonable (and perpetual!!!), and it is seriously 1000x better than HPDM / ThinOS.
I must warn you that HP Device Manager is possibly the worst management application ever created. Not only because it doesn't work consistently, or that the feature set is very limited, or that it is clunky and difficult to learn. But mostly because getting support for it is a complete joke.
Stratodesk has a simple OVA or VHDX template to deploy and setup in minutes, and it just works. Tons of innovative features, like native Zoom and Teams apps (so you can use the Thin Client for more than just connecting to your VDI / Terminal Server). Tons of other stuff too. Seriously. Check out Stratodesk.
(EDITED because HP's site is a joke) If you insist on moving forward with HPDM, then you need to:
- Follow the link in your post, click SELECT and then Click the SIGN UP Link. This should get you access so you can download.
- Once you realize how bad HPDM is, go HERE for more info on Stratodesk.
Hope that helps.Edited Apr 19, 2021 at 15:29 UTC
Have tried to download the fingerprint drivers but still not working

Did it ever work? Maybe not plugged in from the factory? Did you check the BIOS to see if it is disabled? Does it show up in Device manager??

And just what do you want to know? A little more detail would be great as we're not mindreaders here, just a bunch of folks that like to help others out, that's right, we're not paid either.
Are we still in a hurry up and wait status ? Wink twice if it's coming out soon

The post is asking for the Estimated Time of Arrival on gen 11 servers. They are currently on Gen 10 and have been for a very long time, much longer than previous iterations. It has large scale fiscal implications in my datacenter and is a pretty legit question.
I don't know what that has to do with angry Spaniards, what I can tell you is that being angry and lashing out never helps to solve anything.

As far as I can see, it was you first making such a reference to the basque separatist group ETA by choosing to ignore the rules taught in college for introducing abbreviations which cannot be assumed globally known and established. And the Spiceworks community guidelines reminded you that we're a global community, not just a community of US professionals. Here in Europe, this terror group was well known and in the US, it was known as one of two possible causes for a blow up of the political project called EU.
And no, ETA doesn't consider themselves Spanish. They continue fighting politically after declaring armistice. They are separated by an international border. Their region of living is mainly split between Spain and France. Their people is called Basque. They have their own language which isn't neither Spanish nor French with considerable group of descendants living also in Chile, South Africa, Australia, Canada and the US. Their language and some biological hints are much older than these French and Spanish peoples. If I remember right, you may configure LibreOffice and some other software tools for basque localization.
Not sure. But I agree that anger provides seldom good advice nor direction. And who do you consider angry as I couldn't find any such reference neither in my reply nor in your post?

Thanks for complementing clarification. In my country, we don't have college. But in our curriculaes of the different States, we used to learn correct quoting and correct introduction of abbreviations in school, 1-2 years before to what comes close to college.
And as far as such servers are concerned, I haven't seen one materialize yet. But there was an announcement of such HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen11 rack mount servers back in July 2019 as far as I understood, and a source where you may request quotes. Have you already tried to get a quote and delivery date from that source?
I have the "HP PageWide Pro 477dw MFP" printer and it went out of ink for a while, when replacing the ink I receive the following error, and until now didn't get any fixes!
I had several error messages: <0xc6fd0513> & <0xc6fd0313> & <0xc6fd0713>
Could you please help me figure out how I can solve this?
What is your best purchase for a HP laptop?
I am wanting to purchase a couple to keep on hand should Covid hit again and there is a need to have users WFH.
Has to have Ethernet port at the very least. We have a couple HP Probook 650 i5. Looking to upgrade if possible.

HP EliteBook 840 G6
Will look at that one. Thank you.

I have deployed over 150 of the Elitebook 745 G6's and they have been rock solid and amazing, also has a Ethernet port built in
Have a flat network of 10.0.0.0/24. Trying to do a default gateway to route unknown traffic to the firewall of 10.0.0.1. I can ping the inside of the firewall but when i go to set the default global gateway address i get the following error "unable to set a default global gateway value do to a conflict with a network port". None of the ports currently have an IP address however i set the management of the witch ip to 10.0.0.4 with no gateway.
Aug 20, 2020 at 16:23 UTC
Also when trying a default route of 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 10.0.0.1 i get an invalid subnet mask.
Aug 20, 2020 at 17:49 UTC
Are you possibly talking about an HPE 1920S? What if you configured the switch address with the gateway of 10.0.0.1, and after that, try setting that default route?
i did factory reset for my printer hp 8620 . now print head not moving, and in display field no print option
Aug 5, 2020 at 16:31 UTC
Try pulling all the cartridges out and resetting them also the restart the printer. If that doesn't work I would get hold of HP support and download thier troubleshooting tools.
When I play a HD video in my desktop computer it brings red spots in the video

Welcome to the community.
Unfortunately you posted the equivalent question of "my car makes a noise". We need a bit more information. What kind of noise, make and model of car, etc.
What operating system are you running? Since it's a video problem, what video card do you have? Are the drivers up to date? What format video are you playing and what player are you using? Can you possible post a screen shot so we can see what's happening?
With Covid-19 we have a number of people remote and you cannot reach them consistently with HPs SSM packages pushed to them and it works flawlessly in house.
