CodeTwo Email Signatures and Exchange Online attributes

Hi guys,

In a CodeTwo signature template a I have a placeholder called Phone which as I understand it right automatically picks up and applies data from Phone attribute in Microsoft 365.

Now users want the Phone placeholder to be named Office. However, there is another attribute in Microsoft 365 with the name Office.

My questions is: is it possible a placeholder called office to point to the Phone attribute in Microsoft 365?

I'm afraid that there's no way to rearrange which placeholder links to which attribute.

However, you could use our user attribute manager to create a new placeholder (e.g. Office Phone) and move the phone values there. (Learn moreOpens a new window)

Does CodeTwo Email Signatures for Office 365 include bulk user attribute editing

I'm being asked to look into standardized signatures for our company.  We use GoDaddy (yes sad as it is we do) is our tenant to O365 so the only current information is first, last and email on my users.  Does CodeTwo product have bulk editing or will I still need to manipulate powershell and csv files to add phone, title etc.?

lock icon I have enabled code two signature and i have problem

I have enabled code two signature on exchange online and i set the rule in transport rule

To forward emails to your connector it is working fine but the problem is when i create

Any other rule the code two take priority as it is 0 priority and no other rules are applied

Cause your rule is forwarding to a connector

So can i create all rules before this rule and set the priority of the signature rule to be after any rule?

    Hi karimzaki
The rule which forwards emails to the connector should have the highest priority. There should be no problem with processing the rules that follow.
Take a look at this articleOpens a new window to see how it works (the article is primarily about working with smart hosts, but it applies to your scenario, as well). This sectionOpens a new window shows exactly how to modify the mail flow rule to make sure everything works properly.
I'd also recommend getting in touch with our Customer Success TeamOpens a new window - they are available 24/5 and will be more than happy to help you get everything to work.

I think the issue is that i forgot to set the stop processing more rules

lock icon Set up company-wide email signatures in Microsoft 365 with CodeTwo

There are a lot of ways to add signatures to emails in Microsoft 365. You can:

  • design a signature yourself and send it to users together with instructions on how to set it up in their email clients or mobile devices; or
  • walk to every workstation and mobile device and set it up yourself. The bigger your organization, the longer it takes; or
  • deploy CodeTwo Email Signatures for Office 365 to manage company-wide email signatures from one place for all users.

lock icon What’s new in Exchange 2019?

Exchange 2019 is out and from what I've read online, it seemed that this release brings less than one would expect. But, as I dived deeper I found that there are more changes under the hood.

I've summed up the findings in this blog post: https://www.codetwo.com/admins-blog/whats-new-in-exchange-2019/Opens a new window.

All the best,

Thanks for the writeup, Adam. The emphasis on installing Exchange on physical hosts still bends my head around backwards, but that started a while back. The RAM requirements (guidelines?) were a real surprise for 2019, though! Glad I wasn't the only one in the room thinking "D'OH!!"

Thanks for the info on CodeTwo product support, I'm waiting on another vendor as well, I'll be talking with your folks soon.

lock icon How to recreate Outlook profiles?

Hi there,

Just wanted to share this short video tutorial on how to recreate Outlook profiles: https://www.codetwo.com/admins-blog/how-to-recreate-outlook-profiles/Opens a new window.

It may come in handy when e.g. the current profile is corrupted or Outlook loses connection with Exchange after a server migration.
