After a long power outage and after the batteries are completely exhausted I face the following problem. The power-on indicator continuously flashes and there is the "shutdown imminent" alert.
The batteries are 100% charged and everything is working properly now.
Is there any way to get rid of this alert?

Yes, there is a web interface to manage the UPS.
I forgot to mention the model of my UPS is 9130 15VA-R
I have an old model 9130 1500VA-R and I can not configure it to send an email. I have an Exchange email server (2019) and I have tried to send email without encryption in port 25 but also with encryption to 587,465.
I communicate normally with telnet and I can send emails.
I tried to configure it with google servers but to no avail. The log says that the test was done but the email never comes.
The IPM version is 1.70
Can somebody help me;

I had to change the digest period to none to be able to receive emails.

Leroy Jenkins! Haha, these are awesome.
We've been revamping our office here in Raleigh and now have a claw machine! There are also giant fatheads of the desk toys on each floor.
We've also deployed lots Tripp Lite by Eaton surge protection and connectivity products throughout the office. And there's a new toy coming--the Wizard of Lite so please share your ideas for wizard-themed swag that you think would be cool.
The Wizard of Lite has taken a liking to the rack PDU throne:

The bacon and covered wagon are super sick! As for swag, I think if you turned the wizard into a USB pluggable and made the flame light up when plugged in, that would be cool. oh oh oh, or a robe!

Glad to hear Mike ;)
Bang goes any hope of a freebie.
We shared our desk toy commercial (yes, they've truly made it!) that you can find on the page linked.
Along with it, we have shared some IT-themed puzzles in a new Spiceworks contest. Very easy to participate. Check it out and enjoy!

Hi, getting to the bottom of this here will likely take a while. Please contact our tech support team by calling 800-356-5737 or filling out this form: https://www.eaton.com/us/en-us/support/backup-power-ups-surge-it-power-distribution/post-sale-custom...
StorageReview has taken a look at the latest addition to our 5 series of UPS products. The 5PX G2 replaces the 5PX and features some important enhancements like quieter operation, mass firmware updates and a more intuitive user interface.

The fan noise improvement was a surprise, my network admin goes around replacing all sorts of fans with Noctuas in part for that reason. Pretty cool in multiple ways, hahah!
As a "mature" person, I REALLY appreciate the more readable display, but belly flopping to read the screen at the bottom of the rack is still a thing.
We've released our third children's book. Unlike the other 2, this one is a departure from IT. Our young honey badger goes for a ride along with one of our field technicians who startup and perform maintenance on our large UPSs. It's called What is a customer service engineer? We hope you like it!
Huw and Gabrielle, we hope you like what your offspring is up to!

Is book #4 going to be Honey speaking to Mom and Dad about getting therapy for dealing with people?
I'll need to give that some thought! Next book is a bit different... It has a tentative title of The Mostly Untrue History of Rack PDUs and traces the history of a PDU first used in a home lab in the Bronze Age near Stonehenge up through the current day.

PEBKAC... 'nuff said
I'm looking for an quiet UPS, can someone please give me an advice which model I should take?
The UPS needs run at very low noise level during the stand-by (0-25dB), supplying about 500W. The noise level during battery mode in case of power loss doesn't really care.
Nice to have are: Extended Battery Unit, Rackmount, Ethernet.
I was looking at several models like 5P/5PX etc and they all have noise level in the datasheet - but I couldn't figure out if that's permanent noise or only during the battery mode.

The new 5PX G2 that Jay linked to you has a variable speed fan that can turn off at <20% load with charged batteries and nominal input voltage (though the fan runs in battery mode) - it may be adequate for your needs.
If your load is regularly close to ~500 watts, you may need to move up to a higher VA rated model in order to be able to operate in this "Quiet" mode. The fan does turn on when charging batteries or when correcting significant under and over voltage with the AVR, however.

Kevin, thanks for the information! I was no aware of the fan turning off.
The noise during the battery mode is not an issue, because in case of power loss in the building, the little noise from UPS is of the least concern.
